Wildlife Update from Masai Mara, Governors Camp Collection.

On Sunday we reported on our facebook page that Sienna one of females from marsh pride was seen with 2 tiny cubs. Then sadly yesterday one of Siena’s tiny cubs was killed today by a Martial Eagle, close to the Marsh. One of our guides and guests saw the whole event unfold. It seems the cubs were in an area close to the Marsh where the eagle has a nest and fell prey. We have not seen the other cub although we did see Siena and Bibi another marsh pride female today.

We have had lovely sighting of 4 young cheetah males snoozing together in the shade of a tree on Topi Plains. Three females from Marsh Pride were busy feeding on a mother zebra and her foal close to the road to Il Moran camp and the plains are covered with thousands of zebra and wildebeest who are calving. Also lots of ellies around the forest and Marsh.
