IUCN Species of the Day: Myanmar River Turtle

Photo credit: Rick Hudson   The Myanmar River Turtle, Batagur trivittata, is listed as ‘ENDANGERED’ on the IUCN Red List of Threatened SpeciesTM, but recent analysis suggests that it is now ‘CRITICALLY ENDANGERED’.
